According to My Disability Jobs, the unemployment for neurodivergent adults runs at least as high as 30-40%. Those in the neurodivergent community deserve to have the same career opportunities as everyone. That is why we are highlighting an organization that is taking a stand for inclusion in the workplace.

In 2021, Zavikon was founded by Rebecca Beam, who is now an inspiration for the neurodivergent community. Their mission is to “match qualified candidates with disabilities or those who are neurodivergent with employers who believe inclusion is the future.” Through their various services, recruitment, and overall advocacy for the neurodivergent and disabled community, Zavikon pushes to ensure no one is excluded from a career opportunity.

Zavikon provides career readiness programs for both employers and candidates applying for roles. For employers looking for the tips and skills needed to create an inclusive workplace, Zavikon offers services such as workplace disability and neurodiversity inclusion assessments, disability and neurodiversity inclusion education and training, candidate recruiting and placement, career coaching, and more.

For those in the neurodivergent community looking to get hired and their next career, Zavikon goes above and beyond to provide as many opportunities and resources to make the process as simple and successful as possible. Some of their programs include job readiness assessments, job readiness training, training recommendations, resume preparation, and ongoing career advice.
